My Asian Food Trip @ Star Cruise Virgo

In cruising with  Star cruise Virgo, EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED .Expect that you could taste different flavors ,The fusion of West and the East.There are inclusive restaurants in  your package tour.It means,kakain ka ng libre dito. LIBRE LIBRE LIBRE (you'lle eat for free).No need to pay for the meals if you're on board the ship.
 Star cruises menu varies from Western, Continental, Mediterian, Chinese and Eastern.The ship has many restaurants. But the most popular are Bella Villa Restaurant.It offers Western cuisine,Pavillion Restaurant offering  Chinese cuisine.

So if you love siomai,dumplings, noodles ,Pavillion is good for you.I f wanna try something hot and spicy,Mediterranean Buffet is suited to you.

Since some Filipino palate prefer Westen Foods,I am not exempted from it (istoryayaheeeeeee) M first dinner was in Bella Vista restaurant.
I really interested and im enjoying western foods because of it's unique flavor.

 The Cooking process and method in preparing  western foods are parts and being  used in culinary arts.

For my appetizer,I tried Greek Salad and  Chilled Watermelon and Mango. Greek salad is made of Romaine Lettuce,juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumber,sliced red onions,green pepper and plump kalamata olive with white dressings .It is a rough country salad that can be served as a  side dish or as a light meal with some crusty bread.


The main course is so enticing.Among the choices,I  chose Norwegian Salmon Fillet with Roasted Potatoes and Tomatoes. I love recipes made of  fish..Most of the fish like Tuna and Salmon are rich in nutrients like  omega 3 that make our heart healthy.

Appetizers here in Bella Vista,I tasted Latte machiato parfait.kanamit guid ah. Latte Machiato Parfait is an Italian style  semi frozen milk and coffe cream. Sus,yun Lang pala yun.hehehe.

I met personally the Executive Chef of Star Cruise Virgo, Chef Reinhard Mammes,a German Top  Chef. Top Chef dyud siya kay imagine niyo ha,papakainin mo ang mahigit 3,000 katao mula breakfast,lunch and dinner plus mayroon pa SNACKS  sa umaga ,hapon at gabi!

I had a chance to  talk to him and asked some questions on how to become a Top Chef. He said,there's no secret in becoming a TOP CHEF. As long as you know the basic skills in food preparation and you have a passion in cooking plus you have a good team in the kitchen,talagang Swak na swK ang mga pagkaing ihahain.

For this who are interested to become a Chef, I would say,GO TO a reputable Culinary school and get the basic foundation of Cullinary Arts .I am recommending Gerardo's Culinary School if you're a resident of Southern Philippines. I graduated from this culinary school and i could guarantee you  ,you will become SUCCESSFUL in the field of culinary arts if you have enough knowledge in cooking and master the basic cooking method an technique.Tthen you'll become a promising chef like Chef Reinhard of Star Cruise.
