Elephant Riding in Phuket Thailand

Thailand is one of the most popular destinations among tourist! This beautiful country has so many  offering.Majestic temples,unique culture, flavorful foods and of course, exciting adventure like elephant riding! Ive been in Thailand last 2009 but I didn't  have a chance to experience elephant  riding.

I visited Thailand for the second time last May 1 ,2012! I saw this big mammal and took the chance to experience riding on it.

 Do  you know that Elephants  re the largest living land animals on Earth today.The elephant's gestation period is 22 months, the longest of any land animal. At birth, an elephant calf typically weighs 105 kilograms (230 lb).They typically live for 50 to 70 years, but the oldest recorded elephant lived for 82 years.

     Elephants are a symbol of  WISDOM in Asian cultures and are famed for their memory and intelligence, their intelligence level is thought to be comparable to that of  DOLPHINS and PRIMATES.  Aristotle once said the elephant was "THE BEAST WHICH PASSETH ALL OVER IN WIT AND MIND"

Look at this elephant, he knows how to perform basic massage.Ayuz di ba?hehehehe

"The word "elephant" has its origins in the Greek ἐλέφας, meaning "ivory" or "elephant". Elephants have traditionally been a major part of circuses around the world, being intelligent enough to be trained in a variety of acts. Look on my video,this elephant has a talent....naughty elephant?

 Throughout Burma,Thailand, Siam, India, and most of South Asia, elephants were used in the military for heavy labour, especially for uprooting trees and moving logs, and were also commonly used as executioners to crush the condemned underfoot.

  With a mass just over 5 kg (11 lb), elephant brains are larger than those of any other land animal.

 You should try riding in  elephant! Awesome experience! If you take Asian Cruises,you must choose, Singapore, Phuket Thailand and Penang Malaysia destinations so that you could experience  Elephant riding!
