Hongkong is known as one of the world's leading financial,banking and trading centers,located at the southeast coast of China. I am amazed by the unique contrasts and close proximity of stunning urban and cityscapes and high mountains.This beautiful place is made up of 4 parts such as Hongkong Island,Kowloon Peninsula,the New Territories and Outlaying Islands.
There are many tourists spots here in Hongkong like Victoria Peak,the amazing Repulse Bay and Ocean Park.I visited these places.Another spot that you must visit in Hongkong is HK Park. Hongkong Park is a public park next to Cotton Tree Drive in Central Hongkong.It was opened in May 1991.Built at a cost of HK $ 398 million. HK Park covers an area of 80,000 m2.
Hongkong Park is considered as perfect example of modern design & facilities blending with the natural landscape.The park is not only a good site for tourists,also it has a significant part in HK History. Part of the site was known as Cantonment Hill in early colonial days in 1841. At the upper part of the former location of the Victoria Barracks, built between 1867 and 1910, the barracks were handed to the government in 1979.
